Thomas Nigg has studied law at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland), where he obtained his Master of Arts in Legal Studies HSG (M.A. HSG) in 2008. In 2007 he began practising as a lawyer in Liechtenstein and was admitted to the Liechtenstein Bar in 2010.
In 2016 he was appointed senior partner of GASSER PARTNER Attorneys at Law. In 2018, he completed an Executive Master of Laws (LL.M.) in company, foundation and trust law at the University of Liechtenstein. His main areas are representing clients, mostly corporations or high-net-worth individuals, before courts in civil, criminal and administrative matters and assisting clients in commercial, corporate and criminal law as well as concerning banking and regulatory issues in both national and international affairs. In addition, he is a co-author of “Litigation and Arbitration in Liechtenstein”, the Liechtenstein chapter in “The Asset Tracing and Recovery Review” and has authored articles on various legal topics.
