Ryan M. Kunhart represents businesses, governmental entities, and individuals on a variety of litigation matters including breaches of contract, business tort, trade secret and fiduciary duty matters, negligence, insurance disputes, and construction defects. Ryan defends corporate clients against all types of employment claims involving discrimination, wrongful termination, and retaliation brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and other federal and state employment laws. He also defends governmental entities and elected officials on claims involving a variety of employment matters, police misconduct, First Amendment violations, and civil rights claims under 42 U.S.C. § 1983.

Ryan also advises clients in connection with the development, implementation, and monitoring of employment policies and procedures, executive and employment agreements, workplace investigations, and labor negotiations. He assists clients in complying with applicable federal, state and local employment laws and advises clients on hiring, discipline, discharge, discrimination, workforce reductions, and compensation.
