Paola Ramos Meléndez is a Senior Associate at Hernández & Cía. in the Mining and Environment areas.

She has a master’s degree in Strategies and Technologies for Development from Complutense University of Madrid and Politecnica University of Madrid.

She has 9 years of experience in the mining industry, advising important mining companies at national and global level, in regulatory/environmental and social matters and community engagement.

She has provided legal advice on permitting for the several mining projects, as well as legal support to different areas of companies for proper decision making.

She also has experience in community development strategies, management of social commitments, planning of community relations strategies and relations with authorities at different levels of government.
