Kate is a Knowledge and Corporate Governance lawyer with over 25 years' experience in advising corporates on governance and regulatory compliance. Originally a corporate transactional lawyer advising on M&A, Private Equity, IPOs and other public and private company transactions, she now combines a Knowledge Lawyer role with client-facing governance and regulatory work.
Kate advises, writes and publishes on Corporate Governance and other law reform and is a published author for the Jordan Publishing Company Administration and Governance set (available as part of Lexis Library). She is also a strong advocate for purposeful business and the B Corporation movement in the UK.
As a knowledge lawyer, and Head of Knowledge for the Corporate Department, Kate leads a team of legal experts working to ensure that our legal services are delivered to the highest standard using modern and efficient ways of working. Kate brings to our lawyers the cutting edge learning and resources they need to advise the firm's diverse range of UK and international businesses, wealth owners and deal maker clients. Kate leads on initiatives to harness new legal technologies including contract automation, deal platforms and artificial intelligence solutions.
Having worked with successful growing legal tech businesses, Kate has been a judge on the MdR LAB, Mishcon de Reya's programme for tech start-ups in the legal space.
Kate is also a regional non-executive director of REAch2, a successful Academy Trust which operates primary schools across the country.
