Ivana has been a member of the Belgrade Bar Association since 2007. She advises clients in a comprehensive range of employment, corporate and commercial legislation matters, touching upon the day-to-day business of major multinational companies in Serbia. She represents domestic and international corporations from highly regulated industries such as tobacco, food and beverage, mining in demanding business transactions and cooperation procedures.
A significant portion of her work is dedicated to resolution of employment disputes, particularly redundancy and employment termination matters. As an experienced litigator, she is also representing clients in various labor, commercial and civil law matters as well as in many misdemeanor cases.
Ivana has also developed an extensive experience in global and European data protection laws and practices and possesses an in-depth understanding of the GDPR. She has comprehensive knowledge of data processing conditions, including data processing agreements, compliance, transfer and security conditions in the private as well as the public sector. At the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Security Studies she is a guest lecturer concerning data protection law.
Ivana graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law and obtained LL.M degree in Civil Law, with primary focus on inability to fulfill contractual obligations as a ground for exclusion of contractual liability for damage.
At the same University, as a guest lecturer, she regularly holds lectures at the seminar within the field of contract law.
Ivana is fluent in English.
