Irene’s professional activity focuses mainly on national and international commercial law, advising in particular on the drafting of commercial contracts, in their negotiation and execution, as well as in the handling of any disputes arising from them. In this context, Irene has gained significant experience in the organization of distribution networks, with particular reference to contracts with sales agents and distributors, with attention to aspects of national and European Union (EU) competition law and the drafting of general sales terms and conditions, as well as in the management of individual transactions for the supply or subcontracting of goods or services. 

Irene also assists Italian and foreign companies in corporate acquisition transactions, especially for foreign companies or groups operating in the Italian market. She has many years of experience in handling bankruptcy issues, with particular reference to the protection of creditors.   

She deals with litigation for Italian and foreign clients in civil and commercial matters at all levels of jurisdiction and in arbitration and mediation proceedings.

Irene has collaborated in recent years with the Professor Department of International and European Law at the Università degli Studi di Bologna and regularly publishes contributions in specialized journals.

She is registered on the list of lawyers eligible to take up the position of arbitrator drawn up by the Bar Association of Bologna.

From 2021 she is member of Camera degli Avvocati Internazionalisti.

Irene is a High Court Lawyer.
