Danie Pretorius specialized in Commercial Litigation and Labour Dispute. He joined Fluxman Rabinowitz-Raphaeli Winer Attorneys (now Fluxmans Inc.) as a partner, specializing in Commercial Law, Litigation and Labour Law. He remained at FRRW until he joined Metcash Trading Limited in June 2000 as Legal Director on the Operations Board. On 1 September 2002 he become Group  Human Resources and Legal Director on the Main Board of Metcash. On 1 August 2008 he joined Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr as a Director in their Employment Law Department. On 1 June 2010 he re-joined Fluxmans Inc. as a Director specializing in Labour Law and Commercial Litigation.
