Christian Teo is a Legal Counsel and Advocate for the purposes of Indonesian law. He is also a Receiver and Administrator registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights as well as being registered with the Indonesian Financial Institutions & Capital Market Supervisory Board as a Capital Market Legal Consultant. Previously a partner with the Indonesian correspondent of an international law firm, he left in 2004 to set up his own firm.
Christian advises on the Indonesian legal and commercial aspects of foreign and domestic investment, information technology, telecommunication projects, real estate and hotel transactions; franchising; structuring and drafting joint venture, corporate, and corporate-transaction documentation; and corporate re-structuring.
Christian has been heavily involved in IT/Telecommunications projects and transactions, which include, among others, assisting clients in various Indonesian Government contracts, establishing operating entities to undertake projects, advising on pioneering joint venture telecommunications companies, drafting documentation for the operating entities, drafting and reviewing various IT/telecommunications-related commercial contracts, and steering licensing approval documentation through government agencies.
