The Firm, licensed by the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam, was established in April 2007 by Eric Le Dréau and Luc Métivier, two lawyers having a combined 40 years of consultancy experience in South East Asia, with Nguyen Quoc Tuan, a member of the Bar of Hanoi with more that 17 year of legal practice, joining them as partner the following year. The Firm operates from its main office in Ho Chi Minh City and its branch office in Hanoi.

The Firm has developed a dynamic international practice through its extensive network of professionals; including lawyers, management consultants, accounting and audit firms located in Vietnam and the immediate surrounding countries, as well as other countries of the Mekong region.

Our lawyers have in-depth understanding of the South East Asian business environment, as well as the practices of the local government bodies, and are involved in a wide range of practice sectors including banking and finance, trading, joint ventures, insurance, tax, intellectual property, international commercial transactions, cross border investment projects. More specifically, the Firm has a strong expertise in M&A transactions, infrastructure projects and project financing, as well as international arbitration and litigation.

The Firm has distinguished itself for its involvement in landmark M&A transactions and for the assistance and advice it provided regarding project structuring, development and licensing of a major container terminal and port facility in South Vietnam.
