Prior to first joining Bell Nunnally as senior counsel in 2016, Elko served as associate general counsel and in an underwriting capacity for Hexter-Fair Title Company (now part of First American Title Company) and as senior counsel for Windstream Corporation, a former Fortune 500 company now privately held.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Allison back home to Bell Nunnally,” said Christopher Trowbridge, Bell Nunnally Managing Partner. “Her experience both in private practice and in-house is invaluable. Real estate remains a complex and ever-evolving landscape and our clients are well served by Allison’s insights and experience.”
Active in the community, Elko is a volunteer and past board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star. She has twice been named Dallas’ “Big Sister of the Year.” Elko is a graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law (J.D., 1998) and the University of Arkansas (B.A., magna cum laude, 1993).
