Among his clients are: private equity firms engaged in the purchase and sale of portfolio companies; senior and mezzanine lenders, venture capital firms and early-stage issuers; developers, purchasers and sellers of renewable energy projects; and public companies with securities law compliance and corporate governance issues.

Farrokhnia’s notable client engagements include representing: a global pharmaceutical company in a $1.95 billion acquisition of a migraine treatment and prevention company; a global tax services and software provider in connection in a $317 million sale of a 42% interest in the company to a private equity fund; and a publicly traded retailer in a $17 billion credit facility and the issuance of over $4.5 billion in notes over several registered debt offerings.

“Jonathan’s acumen in domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, sales, carveouts, divestments, fundings and offerings, along with his experience and understanding of both established and emerging markets makes him an incredible addition to our deal team,” said Bell Nunnally Managing Partner Christopher B. Trowbridge. “Our ethos of being ‘Behind Every Great Company™’ has meant that we are part of a host of business lifecycle critical activities for our clients – a group that ranges from beloved local businesses to emerging startups to long-established business community pillars.”

“Bell Nunnally has an outstanding reputation in the legal and business communities as a ‘go-to’ place for attorneys looking to build their practices and for businesses looking for trusted advisors,” said Farrokhnia. “I’m excited to introduce my clients to my new colleagues and eager to work with the firm’s amazing and highly entrepreneurial business clients.”
