Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP and Plan A Advisors, a management consultancy, are announcing a collaboration on an in-depth client intelligence product aimed at non-profit and tax-exempt organizations. The team has built an insightful look at the operational questions posed by tax-exempt organization leaders, with an exploration of nonprofit boards and bylaws. This series will help nonprofit executives and board members consider revisions and amendments to make bylaws more congruent with the way nonprofits actually operate, improve governance, and ensure compliance with current law.
The first in the series covers Boards & Bylaws, followed by insights on Mission & Board Role, Board Membership and Terms, and Board Meetings. “The product of this innovative collaboration between Carter Ledyard and Plan A is a set of insights on the most commonly asked questions by our nonprofit clients,” said Adam Gaynor, partner at Plan A, and “Working with the team at Carter Ledyard has brought our teams closer together to bring value to the nonprofit industry,” added Evan Kingsley, partner at Plan A. This isn’t the first time Carter Ledyard and Plan A Advisors have worked together on solutions for nonprofit organizations. “We are so excited to bring this meeting of the minds together in a client friendly tool that we have worked on together to help our most valued clients and friends,” said Pamela Mann, chair of Carter Ledyard’s Tax-Exempt Organizations Practice.
The series is designed to be broadly applicable, but state-specific legal advice is best provided by an attorney.
