Bell Nunnally Senior Associate Joshua D. Fuller will serve as a mentor in the inaugural summer mentorship program hosted by Dallas Association of Young Lawyers (DAYL) – Law Student Assistance Committee (LSAC).
DAYL’s LSAC works with SMU’s Dedman School, Texas A&M’s School of Law and UNT Dallas’ College of Law to assist law students. The committee organizes programs – such as mock interviews, seminars for law students and swearing-in ceremonies – for newly licensed attorneys. And, now it is offering mentoring – pairing matriculating law students with licensed practitioners such as Fuller.
The LSAC mentorship program is designed to facilitate discussions with law students in how to best prepare to be a lawyer and find success in their first year. Mentors will provide lessons, pitfalls to avoid and organizations to join while providing information on daily activities and best resources to tap for career advancement.
