Bell Nunnally Partner Saba F. Syed has been selected to Texas Lawyer’s 2024 Texas Legal Awards “On the Rise” list, highlighting “Texas’ most promising lawyers under the age of 40” and will be honored at an awards dinner on October 15 in Dallas.
Texas Lawyer’s 2024 Legal Awards, recognize “trailblazing attorneys who have left an indelible mark on the legal landscape of Texas, these awards recognize individuals who have not only shaped the law but have also achieved extraordinary outcomes for their clients.” Selection criteria for the “On the Rise” list details that ideal nominees should be “innovators, developing unique practice niches, amassing robust books of business, demonstrating strong leadership qualities, showing expertise in litigation, in-house or transactional work and committing themselves to pro bono, charitable and professional volunteer work.”
The “On the Rise” listing is the latest for Syed who in recent years has been profiled on: the Dallas Business Journal “40 Under 40” list; the Super Lawyers “Up-and-Coming 100: Texas Rising Stars” list; the “Up-and-Coming 50 Women: Texas Rising Stars” list; and the “2024 Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation” list. She is a past recipient of the Dallas Bar Association’s “Outstanding Minority Attorney Award” and has been recognized on the “Best Lawyers Under 40 in Dallas” list multiple times. Syed is a member of the Podium, an organization that emboldens Asian American women lawyers and amplifies their voices and opportunities in the legal profession.
