Bell Nunnally Partner R. Heath Cheek has been appointed to the “Class of 2022 Steering Committee” for The Real Estate Council’s (TREC) Associate Leadership Council (ALC).
TREC is a Dallas-based commercial real estate professional organization representing developers, builders, brokers, attorneys, architects, investment bankers, accountants, finance and title professionals. It is comprised of more than 2,200 individual members and 625 companies, together representing 95 percent of the commercial real estate businesses in North Texas. TREC offers its members networking, professional and leadership development, continuing education and volunteer opportunities.
The “Class of 2022 Steering Committee” is a group of 12 TREC members that help select and program TREC’s ALC, where accepted TREC members – all between the ages of 27 to 37 – come together over 10 months to attend leadership development programs and lunches, receive personalized training with an executive coaching firm and implement a community service project.
Cheek is an alum of the ALC, participating in the program in 2016-17. His involvement with TREC also includes serving as a member since 2019 of the board of directors for the group’s PAC.
