Bell Nunnally Partner Danica L. Mathes represented Javier “Shorty” Ponce, owner/operator of Shorty’s Custom Paint shop in Midlothian, Texas, in legal matters related to his soon-to-debut MotorTrend TV/ MotorTrend+ program “Shorty’s Dream Shop,” a car-building show celebrating the Latino community’s vibrant automotive culture and influence on car customization in America.
“’This show gives audiences a closer look at automotive restoration through the lens of Latino car culture, as well as sharing what the American Dream means to people. In many ways, having my dream garage is a way to give back to the community. I’ve been able to build and drive some of the most beautiful cars on earth, and I know what cars mean to people, so if there’s a way for me to take my love of cars and help others realize their dreams, then I feel an obligation to do it,’” said Ponce in a MotorTrend press release.
