02 Sep 2024 North America

Arnall Golden Gregory LLP (AGG) is pleased to announce the expansion of its International Arbitration practice with the arrival of Lance B. Lee as a new partner in the Atlanta office. Lance joins AGG with extensive experience in international arbitration and litigation, particularly involving Korean companies, which will significantly bolster the firm’s global capabilities. Prior to joining AGG, Lance practiced law in Seoul, South Korea, for more than 20 years.

“Lance’s experience and perspective are invaluable as we continue to expand our international team,” said Sean P. Fogarty, AGG’s managing partner. “His background, especially in South Korea, will be instrumental in enhancing our ability to advise clients on cross-border disputes and business ventures both within the region and domestically.”

Lance brings a wealth of experience to AGG, having previously led the international arbitration practice at the Korean office of one of the world’s largest law firms and served as general counsel for a global conglomerate. His career also includes distinguished service as an attorney with the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. With his deep understanding of international law and a robust network of high-level government contacts, Lance is poised to make a significant impact on the firm’s International Arbitration and Litigation & Dispute Resolution practices.

“Lance’s international arbitration experience and strategic insights into the South Korean market are tremendous assets,” said Glenn P. Hendrix, AGG partner and International Arbitration practice chair. “His ability to manage complex cross-border disputes will further strengthen our international capabilities.”

Lance also counsels clients on intellectual property matters, overseas investments, and corporate transactions. His consistent recognition as a leader in international arbitration in South Korea underscores his value to AGG’s expanding international footprint. Lance earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School and his B.A. from the University of Virginia.

“I’m honored to join AGG and collaborate with such a talented team,” said Lance. “I look forward to bringing my experience in South Korea and international arbitration to support our clients’ strategic goals, whether they’re expanding into new markets or managing complex legal challenges.”
