We have a culture of providing free legal services to people with limited resources and charities, who cannot provide legal services on their own means.
For this, we have a Pro Bono Committee that analyzes and decides on matters and cases of free legal assistance. Benjamín Grebe, Prieto's partner, is part of the Probono Foundation Board of Directors; Juan Tagle, partner of Prieto, acts as Director of the Foundation and partner Cristóbal Raby, is the Coordinator of said foundation within the Firm.
We actively do pro bono and in all the areas of specialization that the office has, providing simple solutions to people who do not have direct access to legal services, cases in which the community and the Pro Bono Foundation have given their recognition.
In 2019 we received the “Probono Project Award of the Year” award. The prestigious English publication, Latin Lawyer, recognized our work carried out with the Desafío Levantemos Chile Foundation in the reconstruction of the Santa Olga Commune, destroyed by fires in 2017.
We are an office focused on advising national and foreign clients in the business world. We have a team of lawyers dedicated to customer service in all areas of law that companies are interested in.
For more than 45 years we have offered an excellent service to our clients. Our team of lawyers is committed, close and creative. We distinguish ourselves by giving personalized attention and by seeking practical solutions to complex problems.
“The team is excellent, always available, has a specific and deep knowledge of the business and delivers confidence to the customer”, Chambers Latin America, 2019.
Our team of lawyers is trained to organize itself into flexible work groups, which allows us to face the urgent needs of our clients with the necessary dedication and resources, always counting on the direct participation of our partners.
Most of our lawyers have postgraduate studies at national and foreign universities, such as the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Universidad de Chile, Universidad de los Andes, Columbia and NYU (New York); Pennsylvania (Philadelphia); Chicago and Northwestern (Chicago); Florida (Gainesville); Navarre (Spain); Warwick (UK); Melbourne and New South Wales (Australia) and work experience abroad.
