Hassans strongly believes in supporting the community. We have been active in Gibraltar for over 80 years and throughout that time has supported a huge range of causes both within Gibraltar and Internationally. We listen to our staff and support causes that are close to their hearts. We also support and encourage our staff in their fundraising endeavours.
Environment Policy
We recognise that our business, offices and activities have an impact on the environment. We have an Environment Policy to which the firm is wholly committed.
In addition, in light of the urgency to mitigate climate change, legislation and regulation will increasingly impose compliance duties on businesses. The Hassans’ Environmental Team can advise businesses on compliance with policy changes whether in a transactional context or generally during a business’ ongoing operations.

Gibraltar 2019 NatWest International Island Games
We were excited to be a platinum sponsor of the Gibraltar 2019 NatWest International Island Games which took place in Gibraltar in July 2019. Gibraltar welcomed c. 2500 participants from 24 member islands covering 14 sports for a week-long games programme. Members of staff also volunteered to help during the course of the events, as well as attending what was a momentous Games.
Tradewise Chess Festival 2020
Hassans sponsored the festival, which was held at The Caleta Hotel, for the 3rd year running. The tournament receives spectacular commendation from the world’s press including; “widely lauded as the World’s most prestigious open” (The Times) and “The tournament has become a magnet for top players”(The New York Times)
