As lawyers we are strongly committed to the concept that it is our responsibility to give back to the community through the provision of pro bono work to those in need. Over the years, we have focused on providing free legal services to charitable organisations as well as participating in their ongoing management and events from time to time.
Participation in pro bono work allows our lawyers an opportunity to apply their skills and to enhance their problem solving capabilities and intellectual dexterity by exposing them to atypical scenarios which demand developed legal and strategic reasoning together with heightened cultural understanding and sensitivity.
One way we incorporate pro bono work into our suite of legal services is by partnering our clients with their own social and charitable initiatives on a no fee basis. Partnering clients in this manner means all those involved can draw on one another’s unique skills, experience and ideas.
Charltons has a strong track record in becoming directly involved in charitable work. We have cooperated with some wonderful people and organisations and have had the satisfaction of seeing those initiatives grow from strength to strength to achieve their charitable goals.
